Tony Kakaris has been playing music for quite a few
years now.His first Bluegrass band was with his
3 brothers and friendsCalled The Country Blue Boys
in the 70's. He started playing Banjo at age 18
and says his biggest influence was his dad
Louis who is an all around Musician on several
instruments Tony Really likes bluegrass and is
likely to be seen at many area jams.He has
played with numerous bands the most recent
being "Buckeye Ridge"tony played the mandolin
with these guys and then "New Day"which he played
the banjo for.
Tony believes that Bluegrass is the only
true American Roots music and says once it
gets in your blood your"HOOKED"For life. I"m
really excited about the chance to be a part
"The Friends in Bluegrass" and I'm looking
forward to the Up coming Show schedule..
